Aside from changing the name it's addressed to, that email is word-for-word the one I received from the Graduate Student Senate a few weeks ago. I wish I were making this up (partly because it means I didn't get per diem for the conference I went to in October...). But, yes, if you are a graduate student at OU and you apply for the GSS travel grant, make sure you put "750.00" on your budget instead of "750". Since they have no clue how to evaluate applications based on their merit, they will use that technicality to deny you.
