I can only imagine that if a university administrator caught wind of Ashley's scheme, he would immediately start calculating how many "Academic Excellence" fees would be necessary to add up to a $200 million bill. At last semester's rate (OU's system for some reason won't show me an itemized list for this semester), it would be 1.83 million Academic Excellence fees, at $109.20 per fee. After paying the fees each semester I've been in grad school, I'm still not sure what they mean by "Academic Excellence," and I assume it translates to English as "Because We Can."
